I am a colorist, impressionist painter from Northern California. My primary medium is oil paint, which I began studying at age 15 under Dorallen Davis at the Marin Art School. Across all mediums, I express the interplay of light and shadow through the juxtaposition of warm and cool colors.

Painting brings me into a state of presence where time stands still. When I focus on going inward using modalities such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, and time in nature, I can feel my artistic eye sharpen and brushstrokes loosen. Incorporating these practices is an integral part of my creative process, and capturing nature is a central theme throughout my work.
